Green Painting

We offer a service designed for people with allergies, asthma, chemical sensitivities, pregnant women, babies, children, the elderly, office complexes with ducted air, hospitals, shopping centres, child care centres, schools and many other places. It is perfect where a client needs to keep the air clean during the painting and afterwards to move people back into their habitat quickly without the risk of adverse reactions to the toxins in paint with VOC's.
Volatile Organic Compounds are gasses that pollute the air, given off from solvents and other chemicals in paint and are released for many years after the paints have been applied.
New environmental regulations and consumer demand have lead to the development of low VOC and zero VOC paints and finishes. These new paints are durable, cost effective and less harmful to human and environmental health.

Other environmental issues
Our commitment to the environment also covers how we clean our brushes and rollers in an environmentally safe way and how we deal with left over paint
To clean our tools and brushes we always use an Enviro washer back at our workshop, this system separates the paint from the water so that the water can be recycled and the paint is solidified and disposed of safely.

Envirowash system

Left over paint which cannot be re used is taken to a waste paint depot under the paint back scheme, funded by the waste paint levy.
